AirTAC 2L Series: Internally Piloted Normally Closed (NC) Valve
The AirTAC 2L Series is a heavy-duty 2/2-way internally piloted diaphragm solenoid valve. It is designed to control the flow of large volumes of fluid, such as water, air, and oil, with high efficiency. As a Normally Closed (NC) valve, it remains shut when de-energized, preventing flow until the solenoid coil receives power.
Because it is an internally piloted valve, it utilizes the pressure of the fluid media to help lift the diaphragm. This allows the valve to handle high flow rates and large pipe sizes (up to 2") while using a relatively small, energy-efficient solenoid coil. It is a workhorse in industrial automation, water treatment, and large-scale cooling systems.
