AirTAC 2S Series: Stainless Steel Internally Piloted Normally Closed (NC) Valve
The AirTAC 2S Series is a high-performance, 2/2-way internally piloted diaphragm solenoid valve featuring a 304 Stainless Steel body. As a Normally Closed (NC) unit, it remains shut when de-energized and opens when the coil is powered.
This series is the "stainless steel twin" to the brass 2W series. It is designed for large-volume fluid control in environments where brass is unsuitable due to corrosion, hygiene requirements, or chemical reactivity. The internally piloted design allows it to manage high flow rates and high pressures while maintaining a low electrical power profile.

304 Stainless Steel Construction: Provides superior resistance to corrosion, oxidation, and chemical wear. It is ideal for deionized water, food and beverage processing, and mildly acidic or alkaline fluids.

High Flow Diaphragm Design: The internal pilot mechanism uses the fluid's own pressure to lift the diaphragm, allowing for large orifice sizes (up to 50mm) and high flow coefficients.

Normally Closed (NC) Safety: Ensures the fluid path is securely blocked during power failures, preventing accidental leaks or tank drainage.

Wide Pressure Range: Operates reliably up to 1.0 MPa (145 psi), making it suitable for most pressurized industrial piping systems.

Modular Coil System: Uses standard AirTAC high-insulation coils (Class F), which are easily swappable for different voltages (DC24V, AC220V, etc.) or maintenance.

Reliable Sealing: Standard with NBR or Viton seals to ensure bubble-tight shutoff and long-term durability in high-cycle applications.
